D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating, which exhibits unique properties such as exceptional hardness and low friction, as well as excellent corrosion protection. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.
Blade - Drop Point type with a long cutting edge, coated with DLC. The small thickness of the blade combined with a high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ball bearing ceramic supports the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent the hand from slipping on the blade. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with a solid Liner Lock.
Handle - made of G10, a composite fiberglass material compressed with synthetic resin. The aggressive texture of the grips provides a firm grip, even with wet hands. The cover's chamfered edges eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger indentation made on the front improves ergonomics. The open-backed design fixed with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. A two-position right/left deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in tip-up position (blade tip up).
