Ultratech Storm Trooper Hellhound & Warhound White, a set awarded for 25 years of service to the Empire! Only a few storm troopers have survived long enough to get one! The set includes the Ultratech S/E OTF knife Warhound and OTF knife Hellhound Signature Storm Trooper White Aluminum, White from the Signature Series line. These are full-size OTF (Out The Front) automatic knives from the Ultratech series. Operating in D/A mode, they feature a hellishly fast blade extension mechanism. 100% made and assembled in the USA. Designed by Anthony Marfione, knifemaker and owner of Microtech Knives.

Ultratech OTF Line - Microtech's flagship model in the OTF line, which set the standard for all Out The Front knives. Ultratech's proprietary trigger spring design, which remains in the “resting” position at all times, except when used. This prevents the spring from fatigue, reducing wear and tear on the internal trigger mechanisms which ensures that the knife will always function effectively. The light weight, the ability to open and close with one hand, the slim shape of the Handle and the sharp blade make it a one-of-a-kind knife, available only from Microtech.

Signature Series - an elite line of Microtech products designed for buyers who are looking for a more exclusive touch to the much-loved Core Series production models (logo with claws on the knife). The highest quality materials and finishes are often used in the production of Signature Series knives. The line also includes themed knives such as Bounty Hunter, Memento Mori and Molon Labe. A distinctive feature is the marking with the dagger logo on the Handle and Anthony Marfione's signature on the clip.

M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Cerakote™ - a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals to improve a range of physical properties, including abrasion/wear and corrosion resistance . Thin-film non-reflective, low-friction matte protective coating resistant to high temperatures, chemicals and impact. Provides durability and hardness.

Blade Hellhound - machine ground T/E (Tanto Edge) type, single sided sharpened with a long line of black grain grooves on both sides of the blade and a distinctive line of holes under the Blade. Coated with a white Cerakote™ coating. The blade is derived with a high Flat Grind for excellent cutting properties. The grain with a series of holes strengthens the blade. This gives the knife excellent piercing properties while maintaining its strength. The powerful mechanism of extending / retracting the blade with the help of the moled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slide requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The opening method provides a seamless opening for both right and left-handed people.

Handle - made with perfect precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from white anodized 6061-T6 aluminum. Decorated with an engraved six-pointed crest of the Galactic Empire Sheeva Palpatine. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the Handle for a more secure grip. The bolts, slide and glass striker are black in color, contrasting with the white Handle. The slim profile and milled two-position (right/left) solid deep-carry clip allow the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket, in tip-down (blade tip down) position. The clip bears the Microtech logo, Imperial crest, serial number and production date. The Handle is finished with glass striker, a solid steel triangle, into which a tungsten carbide ball has been pressed. There is also a hole for interweaving a decorative cord.
