AUS-10 - Japanese stainless steel, often compared to 440C series steel, and for good reason, as the compositions are similar, but these minor differences make AUS-10 harder (hardened usually around 60 HRC) and dulls more slowly, without losing its rust resistance. Knives made of this steel are relatively cheap and will be a great choice if our budget is not too high and we care about stainless.
Blade - Drop Point type, with a wide blade finished to mask minor scratches from use using the Beadblasted method. The long cutting edge in relation to the length of the head converges towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provide high strength while the high concave grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings are responsible for the smooth and smooth operation of the mechanism and support the opening of the blade with the index-finger flipper when opened acting as a stag. On the back of the upper jimping wedge, a notched thumb rest. The whole is locked with the proven and popular liner lock.
