The Gladio Black G10, DLC is a powerful Tactical Dagger knife that was developed for personnel of the 66th Airborne Infantry Regiment “Trieste”. The blade is made of the popular Bohler N690 steel, coated with DLC for added strength and corrosion resistance. N690 - cobalt-rich 1.65% (Co) corrosion-resistant, high-carbon 1.07% (C) martensitic chromium steel 17.30% (Cr) with molybdenum 1.10% (Mo), vanadium 0.10% (V). Developed to provide better wear resistance compared to the original Böhler N690 steel, but with higher cobalt (Co) content in its composition. It features exceptionally high corrosion resistance and long edge retention. One of the best tool steels in the world today. Hardened in the range of 59-61 HRC. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) the durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a black matte nanocomposite coating, which exhibits the unique properties of natural diamonds, such as exceptional hardness and low friction, also corrosion resistance. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - Dagger type, similar in shape to a Roman gladius. Covered with a black DLC protective coating. The belly extends the length of the cutting edge in relation to the length of the slender blade converging towards the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade and the long, centrally located grain provide high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance.

Handle - grips made of G10, a virtually indestructible plastic that is insensitive to weather, resistant to chemicals and mechanical damage. The texture of the material provides a comfortable and secure grip. At the blade a double-sided guard prevents the hand from slipping on the Blade. Handle finished with a glass breaker.

Sheath - made of kydex, extended. Thanks to the innovative design compatible with the M.O.L.L.E. system, we can, for example, attach it to the equipment. In the lower part a drainage hole to drain water.
