CPM MagnaCut - Powdered stainless steel produced using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened between 60.5-62.5 HRC. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) durability of the blade surface is enhanced with a matte black nanocomposite coating that exhibits the unique properties of natural diamonds, such as exceptional hardness and low friction, also corrosion resistance. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.
Blade - machine-ground T/E (Tanto Edge) type with a single-sided sharpened blade. The blade is derived with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), providing excellent cutting properties. The grain grooves (blood-draining slot) increase the Blade's strength. As a result, while maintaining high strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. The mechanism of extending / retracting the blade by means of a moled stepped Thumb Slide requiring for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring.
Handle - precision CNC-milled from 6061-T6 aluminum with a perfectly matched carbon fiber inlay. The Carbon Fiber texture makes the knife non-slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The green color of the slide and screws contrasts beautifully with the deep black of the Handle. The slim design allows the knife to be tucked and carried in any pocket. The milled, two-position reversible (right/left) titanium deep-carry clip allows the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket in tip-down position (blade tip down). The Handle is finished with a glass breaker.
