D2 - high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. With a high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. Combines strength, excellent edge holding and easy sharpening. Features high wear resistance due to high carbide content in the microstructure.
Blade - Dagger D/E (Double Edge) type, sharpened on both sides, lower edge partially serrated. Covered with a black titanium-based coating. The blade was derived with a high flat grind (Flat Grind), providing excellent cutting properties. As a result, while maintaining high strength, the knife has excellent piercing properties. A strong mechanism for extending / retracting the blade with the help of a moled Thumb Slide, a stepped thumb slide, located on the side of the Handle, requires for safety the application of a specific force to overcome the resistance of the spring. The opening method provides a seamless opening for both right- and left-handed people.
Handle - made with excellent precision in 3D technology on CNC milling machines, from 6061-T6 aluminum. Grooves on the side of the Handle makes the knife non-slip in the hand during use. There are notches (jimping) on the back and bottom of the handle for a more secure grip. The slim profile and milled two-position (right/left) deep-carry clip allow the knife to be carried discreetly in a pocket, in tip-down (blade tip down) position. The clip features the Tekto company logo. The Handle is finished with glass breaker.
Case - the knife is packed in a Velcro velcro-fastened nylon soft pouch for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
