Medusa M (Manual) T/E Antiqued Bronze Titanium, Black DLC folder is a compact tank bulit that can handle daily chores and more. It starts with a thick solid blade made of premium CPM MagnaCut steel with an integral flipper fin that, combined with ball bearings, ensures a smooth and quick opening. The curved titanium handle provides a perfect grip, and is comfortable for users who appreciate an inverted grip. Designed for on-the-job performance, it combines elegance and functionality. You will be hard pressed to find a more robust folding knife in this size.

CPM MagnaCut - powder stainless steel manufactured using the Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process hardened to 60.5-62.5 HRC. The high content of vanadium 4.0% (V), molybdenum 2.0% (Mo) and niobium 2.0% (Nb) guarantees accuracy and purity unmatched by more “conventional” steels. Designed and developed specifically for blade production by Larrin Thomas, it meets all the requirements of knife enthusiasts. With CPM MagnaCut succeeded in creating a steel that combines the unique properties of knife steels like no other. The result is a blade material that offers a remarkable balance of wear resistance, strength and corrosion resistance. There is no other steel on the world market today that offers a comparable combination of superior properties. This unique steel is produced at Crucible® Industries' U.S. steel mills.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) surface durability of the blade is enhanced with a black matte nanocomposite coating that exhibits the unique properties of natural diamonds, such as exceptional hardness and low friction, also corrosion resistance. It is one of the most resistant coatings to scratches and abrasion that are used in the industry, including the knife industry.

Blade - powerful and wide, with a modified aggressive T/E (Tanto Edge) design, covered with black DLC coating. The expansive belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip. The solid thickness of the blade combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. Ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper) when opened acting as a stag. We can also open the knife using the oval hole in the blade (thumb hole). To maintain full control of the blade, an upper jimping, notched thumb rest was made on the back of the wedge. The whole is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face.

Handle - made of titanium 6AL4V, beveled edges of covers eliminate sharp edges. Surface anodized blue and patinated by Antiqued method. All screwed to a solid backspacer, also made of titanium. The simplicity and solidity of the design give the assurance of many years of use. There are notches (jimping) on the edges of the Handle to improve grip. The pivot axis decorated with a designer screw. Milled, single-position (right) titanium deep-carry clip allows to carry the knife in tip-up position. Equipped with a smooth rollerball, which allows the knife to slide easily into the pocket without damaging the pocket edges. The protruding section of the backspacer can be used as an improvised glass breaker and includes a hole to weave a safety line through.
