ExBT-18HE-KH BHT-54 is a compact hardened expandable baton measuring 18 inches (450.0 mm / 17.72"), designed for field officers, security personnel, and individuals requiring an effective self-defense tool in a space-saving form. This model features the Easy Lock system, an ergonomic khaki-colored handle, and a professional-grade BHT-54 tactical holster.
Easy Lock System – an innovative locking mechanism that allows the baton to be deployed either by a dynamic swing or silently by pulling the tip—ideal for covert operations. Retraction is one-handed: press the locking button and brace the tip against any surface.
Handle – classic Type-H non-slip rubber with an ergonomic contour, offering excellent grip even with wet hands. The khaki color integrates seamlessly with tactical clothing and gear.
BHT-54 Holder – a rotating tactical holster with a dual-draw system: standard or automatic deployment as the baton is drawn. Offers full 360° rotation and locks in 16 positions, allowing vertical, horizontal, or angled carry for rapid and comfortable access.
UBC-5 Mounting System – a slide-on Quick Change System compatible with belts 32–50 mm wide (up to 60 mm with insert removed). Enables fast swapping of the holster without removing the entire mount. Two adjustment screws keep the holder securely in place during intense movement.
Steel – made from durable Cro-Mo 4130 alloy steel (chromium-molybdenum), formed from seamless, cold-drawn tubing CSN 12060 = CK55 (DIN 17200), C55E (EN 10083-1 + A1), ensuring excellent tensile and bending resistance.
Hardness – steel segments are heat-treated to 40–50 HRC, enhancing durability and resistance to wear and deformation during use.
Coating – the baton is finished with a black nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) coating, providing long-term protection against abrasion and corrosion.
Important! – A new baton may initially resist closure. To ensure smooth operation, it is recommended to open and close it several times without applying excessive force.
