14C28N - martensitic chromium stainless steel is the latest achievement in the range of knife steels produced by the Swedish steelworks Sandvik. Its optimized chemical composition, featuring a unique combination, ensures the highest quality, excellent edge performance, high hardness, and corrosion resistance. By reducing the carbon content to 0.62% (C) and increasing the chromium content to 14.0% (Cr), as well as adding nitrogen at 0.11% (N), corrosion resistance has been significantly enhanced. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) - the surface resistance of the blade and cutting edge has been enhanced using a vacuum deposition method applied to deposit thin layers by condensing the vaporized form of the desired material onto the surface of the workpiece. The coating method involves a purely physical process, such as high-temperature vacuum evaporation followed by condensation. The applied coating has very high hardness, which significantly increases the blade’s resistance to rust and abrasive wear.

Blade - Drop Point type with a long cutting edge, coated with a gold PVD coating. The blade’s slim profile, combined with a high, flat grind, provides excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings ensure smooth operation of the blade opening mechanism, which can be opened using a dual thumb stud on the blade. The blade spine features upper jimping, a serrated thumb rest. The entire unit is secured with a sturdy button lock.

Handle - made of G10 composite, a virtually indestructible material that is weather-resistant, chemical-resistant, and resistant to mechanical damage. The aggressive texture of the scales ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands. The beveled edges of the scales eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the finger groove at the front improves ergonomics. The open-backed design, secured with steel spacer sleeves, reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The two-position, right/left-handed deep carry clip allows you to carry the knife discreetly in your pocket in the tip-up position (blade tip pointing upward).
