27,24 €3-in-1 Sharpening System, Smith's 3-in-1 sharpener can handle all your sharpening needs. It features pre-set carbide (Coarse) inserts for quick, coarse leading of the cutting edge. A flat 750 grit (Fine) diamond insert provides a fast razor-sharp cutting edge for any knife or tool. A pair of specially shaped 850 (Fine) teardrop-shaped ceramic rods has many applications, from standard to serrated edges, as well as hooks and tools. The protective lid also serves as a hand guard, and the ceramic rods fit securely in a compartment at the bottom of the base. The base itself is made of plastic, with rubberized feet for stability while you work.
Tools:
- Carbide inserts hidden in a slot in the center of the unit through which the blade is drawn. Coarse-grained for quick, rough edge removal or repairing badly damaged edges.
- A flat plate with a 750 Fine diamond grit, similar to a traditional sharpening stone. Note!!! When sharpening it is recommended to use water (NOT oil!).
- Two ceramic rods, 850 Fine, mounted in a V pattern to easily maintain the desired sharpening angle. Thanks to their shape they allow sharpening of serrated knives and hooks.
Important!
Always clean the sharpener after use, wipe with a damp cloth or a soft brush and dry with a towel. Do not rinse with water.
