Silverax Carbon Fiber / G-10 Laminate Plain, designed by automotive engineer and knife enthusiast Paul Alexander. Extremely sophisticated, it is the first folder to combine Spyderco's Compression Lock® mechanism with a flipper for opening the blade with one hand.

CPM S30V - made of corrosion-resistant, mechanical stress-resistant American CPM S30V powder steel with added carbon, chromium and vanadium with a hardness of 58-59 HRC. This unique steel is designed for the production of premium blades and knives, manufactured at Crucible Inc. steel mills.

Compression Lock® - Spyderco's (made in USA) patented blade locking mechanism. Extremely durable, provides extreme strength and ease of use.

Blade - slim and sharp Drop Point with smooth Plain blade with elegant satin finish of the blade. Full Flat Grind, provides exceptional edge geometry, and the slightly negative angle of the blade to the handle increases its cutting leverage and shortens the opening arc for fast, positive deployment. Two fast-opening blade systems: flipper flipper and Round Hole cutout, a Spyderco patent. Deep index-finger choil, an undercut for the index finger for control of the folder grip and also to protect the finger from slipping on the blade.

Handle - made of durable G-10 (pressure-pressed fiberglass with synthetic resin) laminated with Carbon Fiber (carbon fiber). The open-backed design - so-called open-backed - provides lightweight, easy to clean and a solid construction for the Compression-Lock mechanism. Metal clip made of polished steel wire with 2-way clip positions (top, right/left). Enlarged cord opening at the rear.
