LionSteel Myto Green Aluminium, Stone Washed M390 by Molletta (MT01A GS)

Myto Green Aluminum, Stone Washed high-tech Hi-Tech folder with durable frame-lock. An exceptional E.D.C. knife by the Italian LionSteel manufactory. Features a M390 powder steel blade, "ReF" fin on the underside of the blade, Double Crown ball bearing system and titanium clip. Torx T6, Torx 8 adjustment wrench included.

Design by Molletta, fruit of a collaboration with a well-known and respected designer with years of experience. Michele Pensato (a.k.a. Molletta), is distinguished by a new approach to the use of materials and experiments in the application of heat treatment and the use of advanced software in the design of knives.

M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), hardened between 59-61 HRC, vacuum and cryogenic treatment and double tempering. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - Drop point with well-marked belly finished in Stone Washed method, plain cutting edge. Small thickness of the blade in combination with high, flat grind gives perfect geometry of the cutting edge and extreme cutting efficiency. Double Crown ball bearing system supports smooth operation of the opening mechanism. The entire system is locked with a proven and popular frame lock with a steel liner protecting against wiping the lock face.

ReF - (Removable Flipper System) located on the underside of the head projection / flipper fin supported by Double Crown facilitates opening the blade with one hand. It consists of a small lever (projection) protruding beyond the back of the handle when the head is closed. In the open position the protrusion acts as a hilt, protecting the hand against slipping on the blade. In the folder there is a possibility to unscrew the Removable Flipper System lever (unscrew the flipper fin and then insert the second screw located in the box) and open the blade with both hands. This is important in countries where there is a ban on knives with one-handed opening blades in public places.

Double Crown - the Double Crown ball bearing system is an evolution of the standard mechanism. It improves blade rotation, allows faster, even smoother blade opening and keeps the blade stable in a straight line.

Handle - green solid aluminum facings, attached to a spacer called backspacer / facings connector. Solid® titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in tip-up position. The clip is bolted to the frame with a tungsten carbide screw/glass striker. A flat screw is also included if you do not want to use the glass striker. There is a lanyard hole in the back of the liners, a hole for the cord.
