Klarus HM2 270lm, Compact Dual LED Motion Controlled Headlamp, White/Red LED (HM2)

Klarus HM2, a technically advanced, lightweight head flashlight with many rare features such as hand gesture control of the flashlight and the ability to operate in floodlight, spotlight and redlight modes. The main use of the flashlight is in climbing, running, cycling, rescue in limited light conditions or the wider outdoors.

Reflector

Main LED - SMO (smooth = smooth) type, made of polished aluminum provides a large perfect outer ring, inside which there is a perfectly round intense luminous center.
Side LED - type OP (orange peel = textured), made of aluminum provides a soft light with a wider angle, better illuminates the sides.

Body

The body is made of lightweight and environmentally friendly ABS plastic. The body holds three AAA batteries easily accessible almost anywhere. At the top of the housing are two large and convenient switches responsible for turning on, turning off and changing modes, and activating the Smart Sensing function. The protection complies with the IPX4 standard.

Power

Using three AAA batteries, the popular "little fingers" widely available almost everywhere.

Lens

Hardened plastic lens. Scratch resistant, covered with anti-reflective layer.

Electronics

The light source are high-performance CREE XP-G3 LEDs and RED Light diode. Large, convenient buttons allow quick activation and easy mode control. The flashlight has three modes, 3 light levels and 2 special modes, SOS and Strobe.

In 2009, the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) along with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) created the first global standard for defining, measuring and labeling flashlights. Called ANSI / NEMA FL1, these standards allow consumers to choose the best flashlight with simple icons. FL-1 Standard (flashlight performance as measured by the new batteries included with the flashlight or recommended by the manufacturer).
