AISI 420 (American Iron and Steel Institute) martensitic stainless steel rich in 0.15% carbon, containing min. 12% chromium, which offers high hardenability in the 54-56 HRC range as well as strength, toughness, machinability and excellent corrosion resistance. The high carbon content produces chromium carbide compounds for wear resistance and edge retention after hardening. Due to its high hardness, the steel is suitable for manufacturing cutting tools, knife blades and medical instruments.
Blade - sharp Drop Point blade with a thickness of 1.9 mm. Made of easy-to-sharpen 420 stainless steel, characterized by high corrosion resistance. Plain blade, was derived with a scandi blade grind (Scandi Grind), providing excellent cutting properties. The tip has been specially rounded for increased safety of use and protection against accidental cuts.
Handle - made of plastic covered with rubber-like material. This ensures that even a wet handle does not slip in the hand, and the fore finger groove improves grip security. The design is extremely simple and durable, fitting perfectly into the philosophy of bushcraft.
Sheath - a perfectly fitted plastic sheath, can be worn attached to the belt. At the bottom a hole made for drainage.
