The Medford USMC Fighter Flipper PVD Black/Flamed Titanium, Black PVD is a large men's folding knife that is as comfortable on the job as it is in your pocket when you're walking around town. There's really a lot going on in this design: retro-style Handle milling, drop-point blade, integrated head and a unique clip to clip onto the edge of your pocket. There really is NOTHING like the USMC Fighter Flipper in the world of knives. If you're going to chop, stab and smash something with this beast in your hand, use caution!

Greg Medford's idea was to create the most reliable knives imaginable while retaining their beauty and adding the 'soul' of a handmade finish.

CPM 3V - wear resistant high hardness tool steel. Manufactured by US Crucible Industries using the particle metallurgy / Crucible® Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. The CPM process produces a very homogeneous, high quality steel with excellent dimensional stability, grindability and ductility compared to steels produced by conventional methods. Designed to provide maximum fracture and chipping resistance in high wear resistance steels. It offers impact resistance greater than A2, D2, Cru-Wear or CPM M4, approaching the levels provided by S7 and other impact-resistant grades. CPM 3V is hardened to 61-63 HRC in applications where chronic cracking and chipping is found in other tool steels, but where the abrasive properties of a high-alloy steel are required.

The USMC Fighter Flipper PVD Black/Flamed Titanium, Black PVD features a black PVD coated Blade, the handcrafted concave grinds give excellent cutting properties combined with high strength. The striking embossing increases the strength, with which we open the knife. We can also use the flipper flipper, which when opened forms a guard to protect our hand, For increased insensitivity to contamination, phosphor bronze washer was used, making the pivot more resistant to field work.
