Ostap Hel - a talented Polish knifemaker and designer. His designs are based on the fundamentals of geometry, smooth transitions and the concept of "golden proportion". He is not afraid to experiment with new shapes and ideas to fit the unique style and production capabilities of the company he designs for.
M390 Microclean® - a martensitic high-performance chrome steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of "wire" during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 20.0% (Cr) doped with 1.9% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Blade - Hawkbill type with a Stonewashed finish masking minor scratches, then coated with a black coating. The concave cutting edge converges toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The thickness of the blade provides high strength while the high, flat grind gives excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. Ceramic ball bearings support the opening of the blade with a quick flipper flipper (index-finger flipper). The entire blade is locked with the proven and popular frame lock with a steel inlay to prevent wiping of the lock face. When opened, the constriction just behind the blade allows you to comfortably grip the knife with a clenched hand, in the push-dagger position. The blade then protrudes from between your fingers like a predatory claw!
Handle - is two pieces of solid 6AL4V titanium with striking Marbled Carbon Fiber inserts. The chamfered edges of the covers eliminate sharp edges for comfort, and the fore finger groove improves grip security. Open-backed design attached with spacer sleeves reduces weight and makes cleaning easier. A single-position, right-handed titanium clip allows the knife to be carried in the tip-up position, with the tip of the blade upward.
Case - the knife is packed in a zippered nylon soft pouch with the brand's logo for safe carrying and storage of the folder.
