Sleipner - a versatile high-alloy chrome-molybdenum-vanadium tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance with a balanced alloy composition: chromium content of 7.8% (Cr), 0.9% carbon (C), molybdenum 2.5% (Mo) and vanadium 0.5% (V). It achieves a high hardness of 60-62 HRC. Manufactured at Uddeholm steel plant.

Blade - Dagger type, sharpened on one side, finished with a scratch-masking bath of fine Stonewashed pebbles. The light belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip of the knife. The light thickness combined with a high flat grind (Flat Grind) gives excellent cutting qualities and the long grain with a hole increases the strength of the blade. Ball bearings support the smooth operation of the blade's opening mechanism, which can be opened with a quick flipper (index-finger flipper). When opened, the flipper forms a mini-guard to prevent your hand from slipping on the blade. On the other side we also have a guard, on both of which are fluorescent dots made of Swiss Superluminova material making it easier to find the knife in the dark. The whole thing is locked with a proven and popular liner lock.

Handle - is two pieces of aluminum, beautifully milled to improve grip. The so-called open-backed located with steel spacer sleeves reduces weight and facilitates cleaning. The simple, secure design gives you the assurance of many years of use. Two-position left/right wire clip deep carry allows you to carry the knife in tip-up position (tip up).
