- MSI S/E Faded Sangria Tri-Grip Polymer, Faded Sangria Cerakote folding knife with intuitive RAM-Lock. Excellent M390MK blade steel, a collaboration between Microtech and Bohler engineers. Ergonomic polymer handle. Designed by Anthony Marfione!

MSI S/E Faded Sangria Tri-Grip Polymer, Faded Sangria Cerakote folding knife, combining strength, durability and elegance. Its blade is made of excellent M390MK steel, which is the result of a collaboration between two renowned companies - Microtech and Böhler. This steel is known for its exceptional durability and long-lasting sharpness, making this knife up to any challenge. The intuitive RAM-Lock ensures safety during use. This innovative lock is easy to use and ensures ease of use for both right- and left-handed people. The polymer handle is robust and ergonomic. Its shape has been designed to fit perfectly in the hand, ensuring comfort even during prolonged use. This knife is not only a tool, but also a work of applied art. Its designer, Anthony Marfione, founder and owner of Microtech, has taken care of every detail. From the elegant black finish to the satin details, this knife is both beautiful and practical. Whether you are looking for a reliable tool or an elegant accessory, this knife will meet your expectations.
M390MK - thanks to the cooperation of Microtech and Böhler engineers, an exclusive version of M390 steel has been created, made only for Microtech. The carbon content has been increased and subjected to more thorough control, improving the properties of M390 steel to ensure better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. A martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced using powder metallurgy. Due to the alloy concept, it is characterized by extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it keeps its edge well, which means that the blade stays sharp for a very long time (minimal maintenance required). Another advantage is that it is resistant to “wire” formation during sharpening. Steel with a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) and an admixture of 1.95% carbon (C), 4.0% vanadium (V), hardened to 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.
Ram-Lock (Crossbar Lock) - a horizontal crossbar that moves in longitudinal notches in the steel side plates of the handle skeleton. When the knife is opened, the locking bar overlaps the back of the blade from above, preventing it from springing back. The bar is held in place by two springs. To unlock, pull back the locking bar, the ends of which are accessible through the notches in the Handle grips. In the closed position, the bar presses against the cam surface at the back of the blade, preventing it from opening by itself. The advantages of the Ram-Lock are that it is resistant to dirt, practically insensitive to dynamic loads, easy to use with either the right or left hand, and light to operate.
Cerakote™ - a ceramic-based finish that can be applied to metals, improving a number of physical properties, including abrasion/wear resistance and corrosion resistance. A thin, non-reflective, matt protective coating with a low coefficient of friction, resistant to high temperatures, chemicals and impact. Ensures durability and hardness.
Blade - machine-ground Sheepfoot, S/E (Single Edge) sharpened on one side. Effectively finished with a two-tone method, the grinding is covered with a shaded Cerakote™ coating, the rest is satin-finished. It can be opened with a thumb hole, making it easy to use for right- and left-handed people. The blade has a high flat grind, which gives it an excellent cutting edge geometry and extreme cutting performance. To maintain full control over the blade, upper jimping, a corrugated thumb rest, is applied to the back of the blade. The whole is locked with a convenient Ram-Lock.
Handle - made of durable polymer in the same color as the blade coating, covered with textured Tri-Grip for better grip. Wide locking slider with Microtech's characteristic X stepped structure. Both grips are connected by a solid aluminum backspacer. A reversible (right/left) clip allows you to carry the knife tip-up. Above the clip is a lanyard hole for a safety or decorative cord.
