Warning and Safety Information for the KnifeMore

This product is intended for use only by adults with knowledge and experience in handling sharp cutting tools. Improper use of the knife can result in serious injuries. The blade is extremely sharp and can easily cut through skin and tissue; therefore, extra caution should always be exercised while cutting, and hands should be kept away from the cutting edge. To prevent the knife from slipping, it is recommended to cut on a stable, non-slip surface and avoid excessive force, which may cause uncontrolled blade movement.

Leaving the knife on the edge of a table, countertop, or in easily accessible places—especially where children are present—poses a significant safety risk. The knife should always be properly secured after use, ideally by placing it on a stable surface or storing it in designated knife blocks, protective sheaths, or magnetic strips. The knife should never be used for tasks it is not designed for, such as opening cans or prying objects, as this can damage the tool and lead to dangerous accidents.

A dull blade increases the risk of injury, as it requires more force and is more likely to slip from the material being cut. Therefore, it is essential to sharpen the knife regularly to maintain optimal sharpness. Additionally, proper cleaning and drying of the knife are necessary to prevent corrosion and bacterial growth. Periodic inspection of the handle and blade is recommended to check for cracks, chips, or looseness. If any damage is detected, the knife should be repaired or replaced immediately.

When using the knife, focus solely on the task at hand—avoid talking on the phone, watching television, or other distractions while cutting. Ensure proper lighting in the workspace for better visibility and control. Please note that some countries or regions have laws restricting the ownership and carrying of knives. Before purchasing or using this knife, verify that its use is legal in your location according to applicable regulations.

Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and effective knife use, minimizing the risk of accidents and extending the lifespan of the tool.

L.U.D.T. Gen III S/E Marfione Select Gray Slab Side Titanium, Blue HW, Stonewashed The updated L.U.D.T. not only retains the iconic aesthetics of its predecessor, but also makes some significant improvements, like Ball bearings for an even smoother opening. It's worth noting that the new design has no patented hardware (screws), so the knife can be serviced with ordinary Torx keys. The blade has retained its 89mm length, which provides the same comfortable handling as its predecessor.

The Switchblade knife is equipped with a powerful spring-loaded blade-opening mechanism, rarely found in knives of this size. This is because the opening must be as effective underwater as in the air, so the spring force takes into account the resistance of the water environment.

More than just a knife, this is a tool that has been designed with the most demanding users in mind. Made of the finest materials, it features unmatched durability and is ready for any challenge. The automatic was designed to meet the expectations of operators of special units of the US Army. Its design is the result of long-term research and testing to create a tool that is optimal in terms of functionality and durability. The blade is made of high-quality Böhler M390MK steel , which is known for its corrosion resistance and long sharpness retention. Handle of the knife is made of titanium, which ensures lightness and durability. It is not only a tool, but also a symbol of reliability and durability. This is a knife that will survive anything. Whether you are a special unit operator or a casual user, this knife is sure to meet your expectations.

LUDT Line - Microtech's L.U.D.T. (Large Underwater Demolition Team) line takes its name from the Navy SEALs Underwater Demolition Team unit, or UDT for short. It was the first knife created by Microtech when it began operations in 1994. A knife that uses such a name must feature professionalism, and the Microtech LUDT series absolutely does. They are very solid, made of the highest quality materials and can withstand all the rigors of the battlefield. And its legendary reliability has made it the first choice for the special operations community.

Marfione Select is an exclusive line of knives, combining Microtech innovation with the artisanal precision characteristic of custom knives. Created under the guidance of Anthony Marfione, each knife in the series features unique materials, finishes and the utmost attention to detail. These knives are not only tools, but also works of art, valued by collectors and knife enthusiasts around the world.

M390MK - thanks to a collaboration between Microtech and Böhler engineers, an exclusive version of M390 steel made only for Microtech was created. The carbon content has been increased and subjected to closer scrutiny thus improving the properties of M390 steel for better edge retention, corrosion resistance and polishing. Martensitic high-performance chromium steel produced by powder metallurgy. Due to its alloy concept, it has extremely high wear resistance and high corrosion resistance. Due to its high wear resistance, it adequately maintains the shape of the edge, so the blade stays sharp for a very long time (requiring minimal maintenance). Another of the advantages is resistance to the formation of “wire” during sharpening. The steel has a high chromium content of 19.0% (Cr) doped with 1.95% carbon (C), vanadium 4.0% (V), and is hardened between 59-61 HRC. This super steel is comparable to Carpenter's CPM 20CV or CTS-204P steels. Manufactured by Böhler Edelstahl in Kapfenberg, Austria.

Blade - machine ground S/E (Single Edge) Drop Point, single sided sharpened with a long line of grain grooves on both sides of the blade for reinforcement. Finished using the Stonewashed method, which gives the blade a slightly aged, satin-matte look and effectively masks minor scratches and marks from use. The expansive belly extends the length of the cutting edge relative to the length of the blade converging toward the needle-sharp tip. The solid blade thickness and long grain combined with the high flat grind gives excellent cutting properties combined with high durability. Ceramic ball bearings assist in opening the blade with a push button, for safety placed in a slight recess. To maintain full control of the blade, there is an upper jimping, notched thumb rest on the back of the wedge. The whole thing is locked with the proven and popular button lock.

Handle – made of durable titanium using precision 3D CNC machining. The stonewashed finish gives it an elegant, matte look while increasing resistance to minor scratches. The Slab Side handle scales feature a flat, smooth profile without pronounced milling or rounded edges, giving the knife a clean, minimalist character. The scales are connected with a solid blue titanium backspacer that further reinforces the construction. Jimping on the handle improves grip security. The ergonomic profile and massive, right-side, single-position pocket clip allow for discreet carry in the pocket in a tip-down position (blade tip facing downward). At the rear, there is a lanyard hole for attaching a security or decorative cord. The hardware (screws, pivot, slider) is finished using the Double Vapor Blast method.
