Vortex Gas Piston®, patented innovative gas spring technology designed to propel spring-loaded windcheaters. Developed and manufactured by the company Hatsan Arms. Gas springs Vortex® Gas Piston use compressed air for propulsion, rather than other gases as in the case of competing solutions. They guarantee quiet, smooth operation of the windcheater, no spring vibration, less recoil and repeatability of each shot. Barrel - full-size precision threaded with length 17.7" (450 mm) brand Hatsan Arms. Tapered (chocked) barrel at the exit provides precise guidance of the shot, improves the accuracy of the carbine. The quality of the barrel's workmanship affects the focus, it is one of the most important parts of any gun or windgun.
Settlement - ergonomic fully covering the barrel's knuckle, such a solution results in shifting the center of gravity forward, which results in a better balance of the entire windcheater. Made of damage-resistant polymer in color black. Fluting on the pistol grip provides a secure grip even with wet hands. Contoured Monte Carlo cheek pad makes it easier to fold into the shot as well as aiming. Adapted for right- and left-handed people, the flask ended with a rubber foot.
Mounting rail - 11 mm allows attachment of an optical sight or clamp. Stopwatch with increased adjustment absorbs recoil after a shot is fired, prevents the optics from moving along the rail, and prevents the sight from being recalibrated.
Windmill MOD 90 has been equipped with a number of solutions to improve comfort and safety of use:
- Quattro Trigger, 2-stage fully adjustable trigger mechanism. Length adjustment first way (sterile) and the other way trigger tongue (Trigger Load). Adjustment hardness (sensitivity / resistance) trigger tongue (Trigger Pull). Allows the trigger characteristics to be individualized to the user's requirements for best accuracy.
- SaS™ (Shock Absorber System ) - shock absorption system, weakens the recoil originatedły during firing in spring rifles. SaS™ extends the life of the windshield and reduces adverse effects on the mounted optical sight.
- Manual-automatic fuse - placed in the rear of the cylinder of the windcheater, it protects against the firing of an uncontrolled shot. This placement allows intuitive operation of the fuse with the thumb. Before firing the shot, press the fuse, which will release the trigger lock, (each time you pull the spring of the windcheater, it automatically triggers).
- Anti Bear-Trap Safety - protection against premature release of the spring during its tensioning, thus protecting against possible injuries to the hands or fingers.
- TruGlo - fiber optic sighting instruments with contrasting fiberglass colors allow you to shoot accurately even in low light conditions. Red bow tie , green pinkie has the ability to adjust vertically and horizontally.
For each wind gun not exceeding 17J, the manufacturer includes a unique 17J Energy Limit Certificate. The certificate is a document stating the compliance of the product features, and thus the legality of the windcheater with Polish regulations.
